Sadly, the first sacrifice is the food budget and many families are forced to seek food assistance from their local foodbank. Foodbank New Zealand is a charitable organisation that raises funds to purchase food for foodbanks around the country so they have the ability and resources to meet the increasing demand for assistance. We also facilitate the collection of donated food which is distributed to foodbanks and other community organisations.
